There are many types of dog shows that you can enter and enjoy with your dog.
Companion dog shows are quiete often held alongside fetes so look out for them, but can also stand alone.
To enter these you can just turn up on the day with your dog (they make a lovely family day out).
Your dog does NOT need to be kennel club registered to enter these.
These shows often contain, breed, novelty and obedience classes. All these are good fun 'have a go' classes.
Open shows and Limit shows are overseen by the kennel club and ALL dogs MUST be kennel club registered (they do not have to be pedigree dogs). For more info either ask in club or visit the kennel club website.
These shows are strickly obedience shows.
